Making of Obi-Wan Kenobi announced on Disney Plus

Of the Disney Plus Day will soon be in front of the door again: Am September 8, 2022 Another special day is celebrated on the streaming service. Subscribers can then contact a whole range of new films and series who will then appear in the platform’s catalogue, just in time for launch. Yesterday it was also confirmed that the Star Wars series Obi Wan Kenobi a Making of special with the title A Jedi’s Return received on Disney Plus Day.

Featuring never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage, personal stories and meaningful moments Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return give an insight into the creation of the current Star Wars series. This documentary from Lucasfilm and Supper Club highlights the return of Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen into their respective classic roles as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Director Deborah Chow, the cast and crew share their journey together to tell a new story featuring iconic Star Wars characters while introducing new heroes and villains to the saga. Viewers will also get to see how the idea came to life in the special, including trips to the Creature Shop where the intricately designed creatures for the series were made, a visit to the props department and much more.
