A video from Digital Foundry compares Saints Row Reboot on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

Today the Saints Row Reboot was released, an open-world action game that heralds the new beginning of the game series.

While you can already read the Saints Row Reboot XboxDynasty review here, Digital Foundry also took a closer look at the game.

In their video, the technology experts go into the unusually large number of graphics settings with 1080p, 1440p and 2160p on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 and compare them. For example, at 1440p and with Raytraced Ambient Occlusion (RTAO) enabled, the PS5 has a slight advantage of up to 6 FPS over the Xbox Series X.

Incidentally, the Xbox Series S has no selectable graphics settings and is limited to 1080p without RTAO. The FPS is around 40 to 50 FPS in most areas of the game and even lower in missions. 60 FPS was only reached indoors, albeit rarely. In addition, the shadow quality is significantly worse.

There are many more details on the performance of the Saints Row Reboot on Xbox Series S|S and PlayStation 5 in the video.
