Apple is expected to present the new iPhone at the “Far out” event on September 7
(CNN) — Apple customers could soon get a glimpse of the next generation of the iPhone.
This Wednesday Apple sent out the press invitations for an event on September 7, where the company is expected to present the new iPhone 14 line.
The company’s invitation, which is always closely scrutinized for hidden meanings, shows the night sky in the form of the Apple logo and the tagline: “Far out.”
The event will be streamed on Apple’s website from Apple Park, the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. In recent years, Apple has held most of its events virtually due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Apple sent out press invitations on Wednesday to a September event where it is expected to unveil new iPhones.
Rumors indicate that Apple will introduce a larger iPhone 14 and remove the notch around the front camera. It could also upgrade the phone’s cameras.
Additionally, Apple is likely to announce a release date for its latest mobile operating system, iOS 16. At its annual developer conference in June, Apple unveiled a number of changes in iOS 16, including a revamped lock screen and the ability to edit or unsend messages.
