Phantom Hellcat announced: competition for Bayonetta
during the Gamescom Opening Night Showcase became Phantom Hellcat from the development studio Ironbird Creations presented. The game should Hack and slash action with classic platformer gameplay connect and is strongly reminiscent of titles like Bayonetta or Devil May Cry. In the game you have to help the protagonist Jolene to fight her way through a cursed theater. The facility’s original guardian, her mother, was taken to another dimension by evil spirits after a protective seal was weakened. So now it’s up to you to do your best and fight demons together with Jolene on colorful pop culture inspired supernatural stages. Of the reveal trailer definitely makes you want more and shows us what the action-packed game can do; Phantom Hellcat impresses with fast gameplay and impressive level designs.
The game offers players both 3D as well as 2D sequences, with all battles taking place in 3D. The development studio promises us “laser-sharp” controls and powerful attack combo options for Jolene. in one skill tree you can teach your heroine new skills for fighting theater demons. On top of that, the game promises some collectiblesfor which you have to return to previously played levels with new skills.
For Phantom Hellcat could us Publishers all in! Games no release date yet give, but the game should appear so far for PC, Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox Series consoles and Xbox One. In the direct duel with Bayonetta 3, which will be released in October, or in a fight with Kratos in God of War: Ragnarök, which will be released shortly afterwards in November, Phantom Hellcat is unlikely to go.
