Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tale announced, making you a pirate captain in early 2023

After Railway Empire 2 and Dungeons 4, Kalypso announced a third new project at gamescom: Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tale.

And the name tells you pretty clearly what the game from Gaming Minds Studios is about: Pirates and boarding maneuvers, of course!

What to expect in Tortuga

Your goal in Tortuga is to become the greatest pirate in the Caribbean. So not physically, you know, through fame, gold and whatnot.

You can use 18 different ship types and when you meet historic pirate captains you can decide whether to treat them as enemies or friends.

Take on merchants, cities, or other opponents in tactical turn-based battles. At the same time you should strive for a high morale of your crew, otherwise there is a risk of mutiny. And nobody wants that.

Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tale will be released in the first quarter of 2023 for PC (12 months exclusively on the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
