That’s what it’s about: Originally released for PS3 The Last of Us is now available for PlayStation 5 as remake relaunched with improved graphics and some new features (including greatly expanded accessibility options). With a MetaCritic rating of 95, the original is unarguably one of the best PlayStation has to offer.

In the post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us, the Cordyceps fungus has turned humans into zombie-like creatures. Through these, the gruff Joel must travel with his young protégé Ellie to bring them to a rebel group called the Fireflies. In addition to fierce battles and resource management, the game focuses primarily on the story and the developing father-daughter relationship between Joel and Ellie.
