Apple Arcade: The new games for September 2022 have been announced

Also in September there are some new games for us to discover in the Apple Arcade offer. Some of them include well-known releases penned by experienced developer studios.

So Apple spares no expense or effort to lure the players in front of the smartphone screen. With the Arcade Originals, the mobile phone manufacturer even offers exclusive titles that can only be played on iOS devices. In September, there are even five new games that will be added to the Apple Arcade lineup.

Apple Arcade Originals: The new games presented in September

Join the party on September 2nd Hanx101 trivia the first of four Arcade Originals to debut at the Apple Store. None other than Hollywood star Tom Hanks asks us tricky quiz questions in cooperation with BlueLine Studios. We test our knowledge in a variety of different categories and different game modes.

A week later follows with Horizon Chase 2 the second installment in the award-winning racing franchise. In the fast-paced arcade racer that comes with a unique style, an exciting and original soundtrack and, for the first time, online multiplayer for all game modes, we face exciting duels on the asphalt. It will be available on the App Store on September 9th as part of an Apple Arcade subscription.

With the puzzle game Garden Trails: Match and Grow we’re going for a less hectic but more relaxing playstyle. We enter a quiet world and build a garden that we gradually fill with life. We choose our own pace and watch as our property becomes a paradise for all types of life.

Finally joins Shovel Knight Dig to the Arcade Originals in September. The arcade adventure alone convinces with its beautiful, colorful pixel optics. But the story and the gameplay also look promising. We meet new friends and foes, visit foreign lands and equip ourselves to prevent the whole world from collapsing under our feet. We leap, smash and shovel our way through an ever-changing abyss.

Fresh App Store Greats title: GRIS+

Also included in the App Store Greats category GRIS+ an exciting title added. Behind the game is the well-known publisher Devolver Digital, who is responsible for, among other things, Return to Monkey Island, which will also be released in September. GRIS+ offers a calm and above all atmospheric experience that is free from danger, frustration or even death. As players, we explore a lovingly crafted world that comes to life with fine art, detailed animations, and a charming soundtrack.

We follow hopeful young girl Gris, who is lost in her own world and dealing with a painful experience in her life. We encounter all sorts of puzzles, jump’n’run sequences and optional challenges that put our skills to the test. Gris grows with her tasks and so the world in which we move changes from time to time. GRIS+ will be available on Apple Arcade offerings starting September 30th.
