What is well received, what is criticized?
Cons:
A clear point of criticism emerges from the international reviews: the steep price from 80 euros. “Naughty Dog has worked wonders to bring the PS3 classic into the PS5 era, but the £70 price tag may put players off,” writes among others telegraph.
“At a fairer price, the game would be a must-have – as it is now, it’s an expensive upgrade of a true classic,” my pushsquare.
The dusty gameplay is also met with criticism: “Graphic upgrades and smarter enemies make this version of TLOU the best yet, but these updates don’t solve the game’s core issue: The Last of Us was originally developed for the PlayStation 3, and at worst, The Last of Us Part 1 always feels like a PS3 game”, says Ars Technica.
