The development of Fable has the dedication that Playground Games has put into Forza Horizon

When the new Fable game was announced, Playground Games simply confirmed that the game would be released on Xbox Series X/S and Microsoft Windows.

The bad news is that we still don’t know when Fable IV will arrive, but we now have confirmation that development is going well. As reported by IdleSloth84 From Twitter, Microsoft Studios head Matt Booty recently appeared at PAX West 2022, where he addressed the status of the project. Booty confirmed that “there are many great things“, but added that “the team has made it perfectly clear that i won’t be able to tell you anything until i’m ready“.

Matt Booty is so excited about Fable and really wants to show it, but the team has made it clear that he’s not allowed to show it until it’s ready.

“All the craft and dedication they brought to Forza, every bit of will be applied to Fable.”

He added: “The skill and dedication that Playground has brought to Forza Horizon, all of that will apply to Fable. they get it […] They have shown that they understand and I am excited for when they can show you more“. It sounds like fans can rest assured in the knowledge that what’s cooking is going to be a true-to-Fable experience.
