The Division Heartland store page brings new details to the shooter
In addition to around 300 new Assassin’s Creed spin-offs, Ubisoft is also currently working on The Division Heartland, a free-to-play spin-off for Ubisoft’s shooter The Division. Not too much was known about the title until now, but through a new one Page in Ubisoft’s own store we now know a little more about what to expect in Heartland.
The Division Heartland features 45-player battles
On the game’s store page, the first thing that catches our eye is the well-known “Coming Soon” where the release date should actually be. Furthermore, some screenshots from supposed gameplay sequences await us here, as well as a small description of the game: “free-to-play survival-action multiplayer shooter set in small-town Middle America”.
In Heartland we can look forward to massive PvPvE battles “against a group of dangerous agents, an aggressive faction called the Vultures, while surviving a deadly virus”. According to Ubisoft, a full 45 players can take part in these battles, which coincides with a leak from last year that spoke of a 45-player mode called “Storm”.
In addition, it has now also been confirmed that Heartland, like The Division, will also offer a few PvE missions in which players can collect equipment, among other things. Players can also choose one of six agents and one of three classes for each match. These all come with different talents and abilities.
With the new shop page, there’s a good chance we’ll get more information about The Division Heartland on September 10th at the Ubisoft Forward. There will also be more details on the recently officially announced Assassin’s Creed Mirage here. By the way, there was another leak recently with more details about the game.
