The Last of Us Part 1 video shows how impressively close the in-game locations are to reality

The world of The Last of Us has never looked so real.

Naughty Dog has already shown in some comparison videos how beautiful The Last of Us Part 1 turned out on the PS5 compared to the remastered version on the PS4. But how does the PS5 game actually compare to the real world? The YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits has now drawn this comparison and shows in a comparison video how close the PS5 game is to reality.

Real locations versus The Last of Us world

What can you see in the video? During the almost 14 minutes, the different sights and well-known places from The Last of Us Part 1 are displayed and compared with the original. Among them are many well-known places from the cities of Boston, Colorado, Salt Lake City and Pittsburgh:

How is the virtual world doing? Compared to the original, the virtual replicas come off really well. They look confusingly similar to the places from reality. Of course, the world from The Last of Us Part 1 has the additional post-apocalyptic touch.

For example, the facades of the buildings are adorned with cracks and in many places nature has taken back what is hers. Ivy is already climbing up the walls and some landscapes are even flooded.

In the comparison video, some special buildings such as schools or train stations can also be seen in comparison, but well-known monuments such as the Robert Gould Shaw monument also come off very well in comparison.
