Remnant: From the Ashes: Developer secures trademark rights for successor

A sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes could be in the works, as the securing of the appropriate naming rights suggests

In 2019, Gunfire Games launched Remnant: From the Ashes, a mix of action role-playing game and third-person shooter. Now there are signs of a successor.

The developer has now applied for the trademarks or naming rights for “Remnant: From the Ashes 2” and “Remnant 2”.

Most recently, Remnant: From the Ashes received a next-gen upgrade for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, enabling 4K resolution at 30 fps and 60 fps at 1080p, respectively.
