Sony Interactive Entertainment has released the new update for the PS5, which brings several interesting news. Via the official PlayStation website, the new options and features of the update are detailed.

This update includes highly requested features such as 1440p HDMI video output*(compatible TVs required) and game listings. Plus social features like the ability to request a screen share from a party member, easily view new friends’ profiles, and receive a notification to help you join a friend’s game faster from a group chat.

Also, you can now compare 3D audio and stereo audio on the same screen and more easily access ongoing activities from game centers. Another feature is being able to search for YouTube content using voice commands. The latter can be done from any time and place, even playing. However, voice command is only available in English for US and UK registered accounts.

It was reported that new features for the PlayStation App are gradually being rolled out around the world, both for Android and iOS. Among those new features are signing in to PS Remote Play via the PS app and screen sharing.
