Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core announced in white is 50 euros cheaper

Microsoft today announced the new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core in white.

The new version costs 129.99 euros and is therefore 50 euros cheaper than the black version of the Elite Wireless Controller Series 2.

With less equipment

The lower price is due to the fact that the Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core comes with fewer accessories. Or to put it another way: hardly any accessories at all, it doesn’t have the suffix Core for nothing.

In addition to a USB-C cable, you only get the small tool to adjust the sticks.

Otherwise, the sticks have a special coating to ensure plenty of grouping, and you can change the button assignments via the Xbox Accessories app. The battery life is up to 40 hours and Microsoft promises a particularly robust design.

If you want the additional components that come with the black controller, you can optionally buy the Complete Component Pack, which costs 59.99 euros. It provides you with all the accessories that come with the Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 in black.

Additionally, the Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 will also join the Xbox Design Lab later this year.

The controller and component pack will be available September 21st, pre-orders are available from the Microsoft Store for the controllers and the component pack now possible.
