It was already known that The Witcher 4 will not be a sequel. CEO Adam Kiciński was asked about new details at the semi-annual conference call on Wednesday. So it became known that the game starts a new saga, and the developer wants to develop more than just a new part.

“We have more than one game in mind. The first saga consisted of three games, so we are considering more than one game now, but we are in pre-production for the first game of the second Witcher saga.”

Time will tell if the new Witcher saga will also consist of three games.
