Ubisoft: Forward 2022: All information about the showcase: what is shown where and when?

While no major Ubisoft event has taken place in recent months, the publisher is now showing the future of Assassin’s Creed and Co at Ubisoft Forward 2022 on Saturday. We have summarized all the information for you.

As always, we will in all probability be presented with the latest games from Ubisoft this year. It can therefore be assumed that there will be new information about franchises such as Assassin’s Creed or Mario + Rabbids, as well as news about the long-delayed Skull and Bones. Ubisoft teases these titles at least in its short trailer for the upcoming event.

Ubisoft Forward 2022: when does the event start?

We don’t yet know how long the Ubisoft Forward Showcase will last this year, but we can at least tell you when it will start. Already this Saturday, September 10th, the time has come. The digital event opens its doors at 9 p.m. German time and we can follow it live on the screens at home.

Where you can watch the Ubisoft Forward 2022 Showcase

The live stream for this year’s event will not only be broadcast on the official YouTube channel, but also on Ubisoft’s Twitch channel. Of course, the publisher also makes a broadcast available to interested parties via their own website. Various streamers will also watch and comment on the event live. Those pre-selected by Ubisoft can even distribute Twitch Drops for their communities.

What games are on the schedule?

Probably the most interesting question is still which games the Ubisoft Forward 2022 Showcase will be about. Sure, we’ve already given you a few relevant examples in the form of Assassin’s Creed, whose new part called Mirage has already been confirmed. This is the first AC title since Valhalla in 2020, which should increase the excitement even further. In addition, there are rumors that Ubisoft is working on a remake of the original Assassin’s Creed, which we may also be able to see at Forward 2022.

Since Skull and Bones is Ubisoft’s flagship game for autumn 2022, we can assume fresh information here as well. The release date of the pirate simulation falls on November 8th. However, the developers admitted in advance that they themselves would not even believe in a success.

And you should also have another title on your screen, the more detailed presentation of which is considered very likely in the course of the Ubisoft Forward 2022 event: There has been rather little information about XDefiant, a shooter that was announced in July 2021. This is joined by some big names for which Ubisoft has already been able to acquire the license, for example the recently postponed Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora or an open world Star War game which still has no name. It would also be possible to announce Live Service titles such as Rainbow Six Siege, Roller Champions and Co.
