Disney presents the first trailer for Little Mermaid “The Little Mermaid” and fans attack “She looks rapper, she looks gansta”
Disney featured a sneak peek of The Little Mermaid movie “Little Mermaid” starring Halle Bailey as Ariel that was released Friday during the studio’s D23 fan expo. You can see the trailer below:
The clip shows Bailey in mermaid form swimming and yearning to “be where the people are” as she belts out the beloved song “Part of Your World” from the 1989 animated classic. Fans didn’t wait to blast the new version, though. of Ariel on the big screen, they have been comparing the original version of Ariel and that of Halle Bailey who according to many say that the forced inclusion will not give Disney good results in this film. It is worth mentioning that we recently published about the anger of the fans with the movie Pinocchio, which was also not well received by the press.

If I listen to it I only see a nightclub and Mariah Carey, I don’t see Ariel anywhere

Like if they make a live action of Tiana and the frog where Tiana plays a white actress I would not like it, this either, respect the original films for God’s sake

How is the “natural inclusion”?

Disney and their forced way in which they want to use people of color. It is as if they believe they have the power to indoctrinate. When Blade came out, a superhero of color or Alien with a female lead didn’t have any political background. He can’t sink any lower.

Someone explain to me how you can have dreadlocks under water?

But why not follow the original design line. All good with diversity and inclusion (I’m gay) but this is too much. They always want to impose something by force. The little mermaid is red-haired and white. 🧐
