WoW Dragonflight: Mages are allowed to transform opponents into a new animal

WoW: Dragonflight: Warriors with death grip - and who gets the witcher teleport? (1)

The WoW developers are giving magicians a new variant of the arcane transformation magic in the upcoming Dragonflight expansion. As a special bonus, there is an indirect reunion with an old acquaintance as part of the associated quest.

Mages turn their opponents into sheep, shamans turn enemies into frogs – so far, so well known. Over the years, however, the developers of WoW have repeatedly implemented new variants of the magician’s transformation magic into their game, which not only provide variety, but also certainly a lot of malicious joy. There are now 14 variants of the Transfiguration Spell that mages can learn in WoW – and with Dragonflight there is another animal that makes us wonder why it wasn’t available sooner.

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck…

Because friends of the arcane arts have the opportunity in the upcoming WoW expansion to obtain a tome via a special quest that allows them to turn enemies into ducks. WoW esports host MrGM showed on Twitter what the whole thing looks like in practice:

Incidentally, the quest series with which we get the tome and unlock the duck transformation should make long-time WoW fans smile. Avid magicians will find a book in the Azure Mountains that obviously belonged to an old friend: Millhaus Manastorm.

Mages who get their hands on the book start the quest with it Best spell ever (Eng.: “The best spell ever”), for which they should read the book “Manastorming for Beginners” and discover Manastorm’s secret spell. The quest description says (translated by us):
“Flying gently in the air and brimming with arcane magic, this enchanted tome contains countless spells and enchantments created by the chaotic but beautiful spirit of Millhaus Manastorm.”
