A total of five new games for the Assassin’s Creed universe were presented during the “Ubisoft Forward” stream on September 10, 2022. We’ll bring you up to date in a nutshell so that you can save yourself the meaningless marketing phrases of the boring presentation.

Those responsible for Ubisoft would like to further expand their successful “Assassin’s Creed” franchise in the future. We found out what the future will bring in detail on September 10, 2022 in the course of a “Ubisoft Forward” stream. However, those who had noticed the leaks published in advance could save themselves the boring 30 minutes. There weren’t any exciting gameplay scenes from the various projects to be seen. Alternatively, we will briefly update you below.

That brings the future of Assassin’s Creed

Almost a week ago, the Ubisoft managers decided to do so before the event due to the leaks circulating on the internet Assassin’s Creed: Mirage to announce. Here is all the information that is now known about Mirage:

  • Basim Ibn Is’haq from Valhalla will be the main character of Mirage. The new adventure takes place 20 years before the events of Valhalla (in the year 861). Scene: Baghdad.
  • We experience in the Mirage how Basim rises from thief to apprentice of the hidden and finally to master. In doing so, we keep dealing with the Order of the Elders, from which the Templars later emerge.
  • When it comes to gameplay, the game should go back to its roots: with a big focus on stealth gameplay, parkour passages and assassinations.
  • The release is planned for 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Amazon Luna. The Standard (50 euros), Deluxe (60 euros) and Collector’s Case (150 euros) editions have already been presented. Details on the contents of the editions can be found here.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: The series could go under

The following four AC projects were also announced at the event:

  • Project Red: Ubisoft Québec is currently developing another Assassin’s Creed that will take us to Japan for the first time. Although the mix of stealth, parkour and assassinations would also be perfect for the topic of ninja assassins, the game should rather follow in the footsteps of the last series parts from Origins (large open world and role-playing elements).
