VR headset Quest Pro leaked a month before the launch event
Metas Connect Event will take place on October 11th, at which the company would like to present its new VR headset, among other things. We already have a pretty good idea of what the new headset will look like at the moment ProjectCambria known, as Meta Quest keeps releasing new teasers for their headset. However, a month before the official announcement we now have correct pictures of the headset got donated because the hotel employee Ramiro Cardenas probably found a forgotten prototype in a hotel room.

In a video shared at Zectariuz Gaming Cardenas organizes a real unboxing of the headset and the controller, which should probably be published as Meta Quest Pro. According to Mark Zuckerberg, the new headset should be quite an expensive device, with all sorts of gimmicks that a VR headset would like to have.
The Facebook page Zectariuz Gaming has shown quite an interest in the Oculus headsets in the past, so it’s quite interesting that they found a forgotten “engineering sample” in a hotel room. Although this is not a finished product, the headset came in a rather snazzy-looking box.
As Cardenas explains, he has since returned the headset to its original owner, but of course not before releasing the unboxing video. Meta itself has not yet commented on this incident. It cannot be ruled out that this is a marketing campaign, but there have been similar incidents in the past. For example, a prototype was Forgot iPhone 4 in a barand just recently a previously unreleased Pixel 7 sold on eBay.
