Besides that Nintendo announced that a bunch of new N64 games will be added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack catalogue, including Golden Eye 007. However, it will not only come to that platform, but it will also come to Xbox consoles through Game Pass.. This is consistent with rumors of a possible relaunch, and has now been officially confirmed.

The game will also release for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S via Xbox Game Pass, while Microsoft will also confirm that those that they possess Rare Replay on Xbox they will already have free access to the game.

Interestingly, while the Nintendo Switch version of the game will feature online play, the Xbox version will not and will only allow local multiplayer.
