%%title%% Lies of P showcases combat, abilities, and boss fights in extensive gameplay

The next Souls-like Lies of P by Neowiz has received its fair share of footage at Gamescom 2022. However, the developer recently released 40 minutes of extensive Director’s Cut gameplay.

The game begins in an abandoned train station, Pinocchio embarks on a quest to find his father, Mr. Geppetto, somewhere in the city. However, this is easier said than done, with various automatons and other enemies lying in wait. Pinocchio is still looking to become human, but he will find himself with different missions that can affect the story depending on the lies he tells.

In-game footage shows more of the combat, which takes more than a few cues from Bloodborne. In addition to creating different weapons from parts, Pinocchio can also change body parts for different abilities including an arm that discharges electricity. Two boss fights are also revealed, the Crazy Burro and the Scrapped Vigilante.

Lies of P It will release in 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. It also launches on day one for Game Pass. You can see the gameplay video below.
