WoW WotLK Classic: All folk skills at a glance
Originally it was planned to use the two services Race and faction change not to offer at all, because dramatically different racial skills in the opinion of the developers would affect the game too much. There was also a bit of concern that players would use these services to chase “flavor of the month” in terms of racial abilities. After the great community feedback on this matter they were eventually persuaded by the argument that being able to play with friends was more important, so they’re going to add race and faction switching to the existing realm transfer service.
Wrath Classic – All folk skills at a glance
Many of the racial traits have been reworked and rebalanced for this expansion – some have been removed while others have been added. Below is the full list of all racial abilities in WotLK Classic.
draenei
Wow: Coat of Arms of the Draenei

- will to survive: Removes all movement-impairing effects and all effects that cause you to lose control of your character. This effect occupies the same cooldown as other similar effects.
night elf

- wisp spirit: Transforms into a wisp on death, increasing haste by 75%.
- nature resistance: Reduces the chance you are hit by Nature spells by 2%.
- Speed: Reduces the chance you are hit by melee or ranged attacks by 2%.

- shadow mimic: Activate to slip into the shadows. Decreases enemies’ chance of detecting your presence. Lasts until the action is canceled or until you move. Any threat against enemies still in combat will be restored upon canceling this effect.
Dwarf

- treasure hunter: Allows the dwarf to sense nearby treasure and displays it on the mini-map. Duration: until termination.
- stone shape: Removes all bleeding, poison, and disease effects. In addition, armor is increased by 10% for 8 seconds.

- Ax specialization: Expertise on fist weapons, axes, and two-handed axes increased by 5.
- authority: Increases the damage done by Hunter, Warlock, and Death Knight pets by 5%.
- toughness: Reduces the duration of all stun effects on you by an additional 15%.

- boiling blood: Increases melee attack power by 6 and your spell damage by 5. Lasts 15 sec.
tauren

- regeneration: Health regeneration rate increased by 10%. 10% of total health regeneration can continue during combat.
- Voodoo apoeira: Reduces the duration of all movement impairing effects on you by an additional 15%. Trolls are freaking out, man!
- wild animal butcher: Damage dealt to wild animals increased by 5%.
- Bow specialization: Your chance to critically hit with bows is increased by 1%.
- Thrown Weapon Specialization: Your chance to critically hit with thrown weapons is increased by 1%.

- berserk: Increases your attack and casting speed by 20% for 10 sec.
Undead
Wow: Crest of the Undead (Forsaken)

- cannibalism: When activated, regenerates 7% of total health every 2 sec for 10 sec. Only works on humanoid or undead corpses within 5 meters. Any movement, action, or damage taken during the action of ‘Cannibalism’ negates the effect.
- Will of the Forsaken: Removes all charm, fear, and sleep effects. This effect shares a 45 second cooldown with all other effects that have a similar function.
