Zelda: The Breath of the Wild sequel has name, release date and new teaser trailer
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom says the successor The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The sequel was shown off with a new, short teaser trailer at today’s Nintendo Direct show. Not only did he finally reveal the title of the game, but also its release date.
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 finally has a title
So far it has only ever been officially called the sequel to “Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, now the child has finally a real name:
- The next part is called Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
That Zelda BotW 2 now “Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” is called, should cause a lot of excitement and excitement. After all, it was already hotly debated in advance that the title tell a lot about the story of the game could.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a new teaser trailer
At today’s Nintendo Direct Finally, a very short but crisp teaser trailer for “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” was shown. You can watch it here:
This can be seen: A whole lot. Link pushes open huge gates, falls through the cloud cover, climbs up moving boulders (apparently running backwards in time) and climbs up a giant root in a completely different look.
Last but not least lands Link on a floating platform. It remains somewhat unclear what exactly it is all about. It could be about some kind of aircraft actions that we can control. But maybe there is only the possibility to land on it.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom finally has a release date!
When is Zelda BotW 2 coming? The “Breath of the Wild” sequel was originally supposed to be released this year, then it was pushed back to 2023. Now there is one exact release date. Please keep the following date free:
- “Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” will be released on May 12, 2023.
We can only hope that this date is really fixed, that nothing will come between them and that the release will actually take place on May 12, 2023. Mark it in the calendar and keep your fingers crossed can’t hurt. Maybe you want to hand in vacations.
