Hogwarts Legacy features an exclusive quest that you can only play if you purchase the title on PS4 or PS5. If you want to buy the game from the Harry Potter universe for Xbox One or Series S/X or PC or Switch, you’re looking into the proverbial tube. At yesterday’s September 2022 State of Play, the special mission called Hogsmeade Haunted Shop was featured in its own trailer.

That’s what it’s about: You read that right! You can only enjoy this special quest if you purchase Hogwarts Legacy on PS4 or PS5. It even gives you the opportunity to run your own shop and all this is reserved for all users of other platforms. Some cosmetic items also remain exclusive.

What’s in it? The quest seems to be quite extensive. You can buy a shop in Hogsmeade, but there’s a catch: it’s haunted. There is a real dungeon under the store and at the end of the day you have to solve a big mystery to break the curse (via: PlayStationBlog).
