Street Fighter 6 trailer shows World Tour mode and new gameplay

A new trailer for Street Fighter 6 has been revealed, featuring a selection of classic characters and the game’s World Tour mode.

As revealed during Capcom’s Tokyo Game Show 2022 online show, players will be able to customize their own character to take on the story mode.

This will feature a large open world and will apparently allow players to explore various locations, meet classic Street Fighter characters, and battle other NPCs.

Also highlighted was the game’s character creator, which will allow players to greatly customize their character’s appearance and movements. Special moves can be learned from the classic characters of the series, which will be located in the open world.

Certain moves can also be used outside of battle, such as Chun-Li’s Spinning Bird Kick which is used to break through a gap.

E. Honda, Blanke, Dhalsim, and Ken were also officially shown off as part of the trailer, each sporting an updated look. While this is the first time they have been shown in action, their presence in the game has been known for some time.

Also revealed was Extreme Battle, a new game mode that will allow players to set custom rules and modifiers to make battles more interesting. Several examples were shown in the trailer, such as the “Bouncing Bomb” mode, in which players had to avoid explosives while fighting.
