PSVR 2 horror game throws you into a zombie apocalypse for over 50 hours

PSVR2 buyers can now get ready for a real horror marathon.

We’ve already tried the PSVR2 headset. We were not only positively surprised by the virtual reality accessories, but also received some additional information. For example, we now know that The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners 2 isn’t the only thing coming to the PS5’s new VR headset. Skydance Interactive confirmed to us in an interview that the first part will also appear on PSVR2. Together, both parts deliver around 50 hours of playtime – a real chunk for VR.

Many VR titles are short. Very short. This is of course due to the fact that it is quite time-consuming to develop corresponding titles and that virtual reality is still a niche. But at least the latter could change with the new PSVR 2 headset for the PS5. You can read more about this and how it feels here:

The Walking Dead is getting long: Those looking for longer games that are also available in VR will be happy about this news. For Sony’s PSVR 2, not only – as previously announced – the second part The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners 2 should appear, but also the first. And with all updates. This was revealed to us in an interview with Skdance Interactive. Both parts together last up to 50 hours.

Is there a bundle coming? Unfortunately, we have not yet been told whether the two games will actually be sold together as a bundle. We also don’t know anything more about a possible free upgrade for everyone who already owns the first part for PSVR 1. For better or worse, we’ll have to wait a little longer until the official announcement.

But that’s not all: The absolute PSVR 2 highlight should be Horizon: Call of the Mountain. This is a virtual reality spin-off of the Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West franchises, exclusive to PSVR 2 and really impressive in our big GamePro preview of the virtual reality game.
