WoW: September 16, 2022 Hotfixes for WotLK Classic and Anduin
As on September 14, 2022, last night (September 16) there was a hotfix package for WoW: Shadowlands and Wrath of the Lich King Classic. We have the official patch notes for you!
As already on September 14, 2022 there was also a hotfix pack for WoW: Shadowlands and Wrath of the Lich King Classic last night (September 16th). The innovations for the shadow land raid Mausoleum of the First can be seen as an addition to the hotfixes that have already been made:
Otherwise, bug fixes for the WotLK Classic pre-patch await you:
- Fixed a bug where the visual freeze effect never expired.
- Argent Dawn Merchants that spawned during the Scourge invasion can no longer be engaged by players who are “at war” with them.
- In Blue sack full of gems you will now only find loot from Onyxia’s cave, as intended.

- Fated Raids
- The following NPC’s will no longer be afflicted by Fated Infusion: Protoform Barrier:
- Sepulcher of the First Ones: Anduin Wrynn

Wrath of the Lich King Classic
- Fixed an issue that caused the freeze visual effect to never expire.
- Argent Dawn vendors for the Scourge Invasion can no longer be put into combat by players “at war” with them.
- The loot table for Blue Sack of Gems now only includes loot from Onyxia’s Lair, as intended.
Hotfixes are updates made server-side without downloading new data. Some of the changes listed below will take effect as soon as Blizzard implements them, while others will only take effect after an announced realm restart. Please note that some issues cannot be fixed without a client-side patch.
