Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Has Not Been Canceled But Still No Release Date

E3 2021: Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Revealed For Switch

Advance Wars: 1+2 Re-Boot Camp had a strange case that triggered his delay earlier in the year. Announced at E3 last year, the remake was greeted with great excitement upon its reveal. All this due to the time that the franchise had been inactive. However, as time has passed, that emotion has been muted.

The game has been delayed on several occasions, with its most recent postponement pushing it back to an unspecified date in 2023. One of the reports has suggested that the Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a major factor in these delays, thanks not only to the issue central to the game, but also to the fact that one of the two fictional nations in the game is based on Russia.

Given the Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp It also hasn’t appeared in the recent Nintendo Direct, at least it hasn’t been cancelled.

Axios’ Stephen Totilo recently took to Twitter and said that when asked if the remakes had been cancelled, Nintendo told him that they were still on the docket, although the release had been delayed. Delayed for when exactly? On that front, there is still no clarity.

“We will announce the new date once it has been determined,” says Nintendo.

Hopefully it won’t be too long before that happens, but you never know with Nintendo. Either way, we’ll be on the lookout for more details, so stay tuned for more updates.
