On the currently taking place Realms Deep 2022 Developer studio Slipgate Ironworks and publisher 3D Realms have the 3D shooter title Phantom Fury announced. So it’s time again: Clear the stage for Sally “Bombshell” Harrison! The tough heroine was last in Ion Fury with big guns and a quick-witted tongue proved that she is not to be trifled with.

The developers describe Phantom Fury as a mixture of “action and road movie”, the story takes place a few years after the events of the first part. So you will be able to explore some well-known areas of the USA extensively and clean them of enemies. In the larger levels and outdoor areas, airplanes and other means of transport are also used. The retro shooter adventure has also been graphically enhanced, and a real 3D engine is now used in the follow-up title.

Phantom Fury is scheduled for release in 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and the Switch.
