Fortnite - New Season: Chrome Substance and Spider-Gwen in the new Battle Pass

from Michael Miskulin
The new season of Fortnite brings a new kind of chromium substance to the game that changes everything it touches. Additionally, Battle Pass buyers can receive Spider-Gwen as an unlockable character.

Fortnite is about to start a new season in which a strange new substance has appeared: chromium. Today starts Chapter 3: Season 4 called “Paradise”. The big change is this new mysterious substance called chromium. She seems to change everything she touches. It can be sprayed on walls to walk through them, or players can spray it on themselves to temporarily become immune to fire and sprint faster.

Other novelties of Season 4 include new locations such as a floating apartment and other interesting locations, which are of course contaminated with chrome. Sniper Rifles have received a large buff that increases both damage and headshot multiplier. There is also a new type of vault that can be opened by finding various keys around the island, giving players access to high tier loot.

The new season also means a new Battle Pass with new unlockable characters. This time the highlight is Spider-Gwen. Players who purchase the pass will immediately gain access to a new skin called Paradigm. Other new additions include a hipster cat, a weird bear creature, some kind of werewolf, and an anime skin. The following trailer shows more of all the novelties.

In the final season of Fortnite players could witness a major Dragon Ball crossover event. This allowed players to give Gokue a weapon. This season kicked off in June with a Mech Battle live event. Incidentally, since the introduction of the Zero Build mode in March, Fortnite has seen a large gain in approval.
