The weekend was not a good one from a developer perspective. A hacker recently released 90 gameplay videos for early GTA 6 builds, and now there has also been a leak from Blizzard. A leaker shows us around 40 minutes of gameplay footage of the upcoming role-playing game Diablo 4 and presents for the first time what the hotly debated in-game shop will look like – at least in the build that can be seen in the video.

40 minutes of barbarian gameplay and in-game shop

User shares on Reddit iV1rus0 a link leading to two Diablo 4 videos. The material comes from a test where members of the development team were allowed to take a look at the game. One of the videos shows 38 minutes from the game, while the five-minute video briefly shows the in-game shop.

What is shown? During the 38-minute video we get a glimpse of many things from Diablo 4. The material shown looks almost finished. The following things can be seen, among others:

  • Barbarian Abilities
  • inventory
  • user interface
  • game world
  • quests
  • skill tree

The gameplay shown looks like tried and true Diablo manner and offers a dark and atmospheric visuals. However, a few things can still be changed before the game is released, especially since there is no final release date for the title.

You can see what Blizzard has officially shown us about Diablo 4 in the following trailer:

First look at Diablo 4’s in-game shop

What does the shop look like? The video does not show any items in the in-game shop that give a direct or indirect advantage in the game. So far, this corresponds to the promise that Blizzard has made in this regard. Two menu items are shown in the video: “Cosmetics” and “Palladium”.

Under “Cosmetics” are some skin sets consisting of weapons and armor. Skins can also be purchased for the mount, all of which end up in the wardrobe in town.

In this article, our colleagues at GameStar explain how they deal with leaks:

Under “Palladium” the in-game currency can be purchased for real money in order to then be able to afford the cosmetic items. Unfortunately, the exact conversion rate cannot be seen here. But if Diablo 4 is based on other titles such as Call of Duty: Warzone, the skin sets will cost around 25 euros.

But beware: It may look different at the time of publication. The content in the shop could change significantly before the release or even after the release. So we have to be patient for better or worse until Diablo 4 finds its way onto our consoles.
