Only 30% of players have a Steam Achievement in MultiVersus that just requires being nice - why?

Free brawl game MultiVersus is still popular 2 months after its release on Steam. However, one player has come across something strange: Many players don’t even have an easy-to-get achievement. You really just have to be nice to him.

What is this achievement? Nice Speech is an achievement that requires you to toast 10 players in MultiVersus. Toasts are a currency that you can earn or buy.

After each match, you can toast your opponents for 25 coins and toast them back. This is a kind of sporty “GG” after the end of the match and a win-win situation, because coins can be used to unlock new heroes, for example.

How now but a player on reddit (via reddit.com) found that only 30% of players have this achievement. We checked and can confirm: in a global comparison, exactly 29.9% of the players toasted at least 10 others.

The topic has been making waves on reddit and has been the biggest topic on the MultiVersus subreddit in recent times. The fans are discussing how it is that over 70% of the players don’t have such an easy achievement.

After all, only 5-10 rounds are required to get Nice Speech. But it’s apparently not because all players are simply unfriendly.

“Most don’t play past the tutorial”

Why do so few players have the achievement? In the discussion, two theories emerge that most agree with. The first is that toasts are simply not explained.

As a new player, you don’t really know what you’re actually doing with these things and that they give you an advantage. They simply don’t use the feature because they don’t know about it.

The second, more likely theory is that many don’t seem to play past the tutorial at all. MultiVersus is free and attracts a correspondingly large number of interested parties. Many then apparently decide that the brawler is not for them after all and no longer touch the game.

However, they are still recorded as players – just as those who did not win the game.

How about MultiVersus? Even though the beat-em-up has calmed down a bit, MultiVersus remains popular. Noisy steamcharts more than 10,000 players played simultaneously on the last day (as of September 19, 12:00 p.m.). In the last 30 days, the average was over 14,800.

Development is also progressing. Season 1 is currently running in MultiVersus. This includes some balance adjustments as well as new content that can be earned and that will be released over the coming weeks:
