Geforce RTX 4090/4080: These are the custom models from the board partners

The new GPU generation has been official since yesterday. In the Project Beyond live stream, Jensen Huang revealed the secret of the new graphics cards based on Ada Lovelace and presented the flagship Geforce RTX 4090 and two variants of the Geforce RTX 4080 in memory configurations with 12 and 16 GiByte. There is no Founders Edition for the 12 GB version, the board partners step in here.

Nvidia’s board partners insisted on this and presented their custom models for the Geforce RTX 40 series directly. And that’s not a few, because they belong MSI, Zotac, Asus, galaxy, Inno3D, Colorful, PNY, Gainward, Palit and gigabytes. In this article, we would like to briefly present the custom models of the manufacturers mentioned. Detailed information from the manufacturers themselves can be found in the linked press releases. As usual, there is only the launch on 12.10. then data on clock speeds, power consumption and more.

MSI Suprim, Suprim Liquid, Gaming Trio and Ventus

The new Gefore RTX 40 GPUs are available from the manufacturer MSI in the in-house brands Suprim, Suprim Liquid, Gaming Trio and Ventus. The Suprim cards are kept at temperature with MSI’s “Tri Frozr 3S” cooling system. The 16 GiByte RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 come with a vapor chamber, while the 12 GiByte model of the RTX 4080 comes with a nickel-plated copper baseplate. The Suprim Liquid models are characterized by closed-loop liquid cooling, which is only available for the RTX 4090.
