By the Blade: Samurai Punk World opens in November

The one-hit-kill swordfighting game Die by the Blade is coming to PC and consoles in November.

Sharpen your blade and prepare to face fearsome foes, all masters of their deadly craft. Kwalee is pleased to announce that Die by the Blade, the brutal swordfighting game with dynamic one-hit-kill combat mechanics, will be released on November 3rd, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5 and Xbox One & Series S/X. Nintendo Switch will be released later in 2023.

Developed by Grindstone and Triple Hill Interactive, Die by the Blade is inspired by iconic titles like Bushido Blade, Way of the Samurai and the Dark Souls series. Set in a stunning punk samurai world, players must choose from an array of traditional Japanese weapons to dictate their move-set, parry opponents’ blows with lightning speed, and master the art of the one-hit kill!

To mark the release date announcement, Kwalee has released a brand new gameplay trailer showcasing some of the intriguing playable characters, deadly bladed weapons, and stunning locations alongside brutal 1v1 combat.
