Diablo Immortal: Big 1.6 patch will be released next week

Diablo Immortal: Blizzard changes troops with next update (1)

The first major update for Blizzard’s mobile game Diablo Immortal, called Patch 1.6, has meanwhile a release date. Already on September 28 this year, the comprehensive update will bring a brand new dungeon, among other things, and continue the story quest series with the Silent Monastery. As a mechanic, the dungeon is probably wrapped in an “eternal night”, so players must find light sources to illuminate its halls and weaken the nightmare hordes.

The update also brings some innovations for troops. With Cyrangar Castle, they get a completely new shelter that replaces the previous troop camps and brings new gameplay features. In Cleanse the Depths, squad members can become more powerful individually and get some collectibles that can be placed in squad rooms. Also, players can work with their squad to fight back the demons in “Defending Cyrangar” and earn additional rewards. This also includes the coveted ancestral weapons.

Just one day after the release of patch 1.6, on September 29th, the fifth season of the title starts with “Storm Descendants”, of course with its own Battle Pass. This brings updated challenges, rewards, and a new cosmetic item. Then, starting October 2nd of this year, players will be able to challenge Izilech the Disfigured, the fifth boss in Hell’s Reliquary. It also comes with a few new set items.
