Rings of Power: This happens in Episode 5
While Miriel and Galadriel may have agreed that the people of Númenor would support the Elbin in their fight against Sauron, the Númenorians themselves remain divided. Some can’t wait to travel to Middle-earth, including Elendil’s son, Isildur. But he of all people is not allowed to, because he managed to lose his place in Númenor’s fleet.
Isildur therefore tries to smuggle himself into the Númenorean army. He sneaks onto a ship to stow away across the sea. When Kemen, the son of Míriel’s advisor Pharazon, finds himself in danger trying to set fire to it, Isildur is forced to give up

Hide and save him. He does not reveal that Kemen wants to sabotage the journey to Middle-earth. Isildur’s heroic deed is enough for Elendil to take his son to Middle-earth – albeit as a cabin boy.
Halbrand, on the other hand, is very happy to be able to work for the blacksmiths’ guild after all. Only when Galadriel reveals her true motives for her journey to Middle-earth and tells him about her brother’s death does he also begin to report why he does not want to travel to his old homeland. After the two speak out, Galadriel convinces Halbrand that liberating the Southlands could heal her emotional wounds.
Dwarves, orcs and mysterious strangers
Elrond and Nori are also faced with personal conflicts. Elrond finally learns from High King Gil-galad the reason why he was sent to the dwarves. The mithril the dwarves found is perhaps the only means of preventing the power of the elves from gradually disappearing from Middle-earth. With a heavy heart, Elrond tells Durin about his problem. Once again, he puts his friendship with Elrond above his own pride and promises to ask his father if the dwarves can continue to mine the valuable mithril.

Nori is also at odds with a friend, the mysterious stranger who accompanies her and her family. While he saves the Harfeet from wolves attacking the caravan, the question remains whether he is an ally or a threat. When he recovers from the fight, Nori is almost hurt as well. Confused and scared, she flees into the forest. And then there are the mysterious figures who found the crater where Nori first encountered the stranger.
The people watched over by Arondir, on the other hand, have a clear goal in mind. Some make their way to join Adar, the rest follow Arondir and Bronwyn to fight Adar and the orcs. Among them is Bronwyn’s son Theo, showing Arondir his sword hilt.
After the end of “Farewells” it is foreseeable where at least some of the storylines of Rings of Power will meet. For it would be very strange if the Númenoreans did not arrive in the Southlands at exactly the same time as the battle against Adar is in full swing.
