Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope does not include multiplayer

There will be no multiplayer mode in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.

To Declarations From producer Xavier Manzanares, the team decided to focus exclusively on a “solo experience” in this installment.

A matter of balance

In the predecessor there was a co-op mode on the one hand, and on the other hand Ubisoft later added a versus mode via a free update.

With Sparks of Hope, the team was concerned about the game’s balance, Manzanares explains: “We decided midway through production to focus on the solo experience. As we carried over many things from the original concept, we We saw how many elements it entailed and to balance that out we wanted to focus on the solo aspect with this revamped system.”
