Stardew Valley: When is update 1.6 coming? This is what Eric Barone says about the current status

Update 1.6 for Stardew Valley is still a long time coming, developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone has now commented on the current status.

In June, he indicated that the new update would focus on modding, but would also bring some “new content”.

When is update 1.6 coming?

Unfortunately, there is still no specific date for Stardew Valley’s update 1.6. According to Barone, there is currently no release date in sight.

According to him, the update will come “when it’s ready”. When that is is written in the stars.

There is slightly better news for the mobile versions of Stardew Valley. Update 1.5 is in the works for this one. Barone has not given a date for this either, but it should be released for the other versions before update 1.6.

In addition to Stardew Valley, Barone is currently working on his new project Haunted Chocolatier, which has only been confirmed for the PC so far, but also has no date yet.
