Wild Hearts will be released on February 17, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin).

The first trailer of Wild Hearts

Wild Hearts is set in a fantasy version of feudal Japan that goes by the name of Azuma.

Azuma has been ravaged by “the once-peaceful Kemono, who are changing their environment at the cost of human lives,” it says. “Kemono species range from plant squirrels to the giant wild boar Floragrunt. After a terrifying battle against the winter wolf Frostgrim, players will receive life-sustaining technology and be tasked with restoring balance to the entire region.”

“Wild Hearts introduces players to a living fantasy world that is as untamed as it is beautiful,” said Yosuke Hayashi, Executive Vice President of Koei Tecmo Games. “With Wild Hearts, we wanted to not only show the evolution, merging, and real-life threat of Kemono, but also create a game that puts crafting at the heart of the gameplay experience to redefine what’s possible in a monster hunting game. We We’ve put a lot of effort into making our karakuri battle-ready, and look forward to players using these powerful mechanics to battle mighty beasts and travel the world.”

The karakuri mentioned are “refined mechanisms” made with “lost ancient technology.”

Wild Hearts also supports a co-op mode for up to three players, and crossplay is also possible.

You want to show more gameplay on October 5th.
