Deadpool 3: Reynolds and Jackman (almost) reveal the story

Only recently left Ryan Reynolds a real bombshell: In a funny video he announced that Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3. However, this news not only caused a storm of jubilation among the fans, but also raised some questions. How does the return of the clawed superhero tie into the events of the Logan movie? How does Wolverine return? Is it a fight between him and Deadpool? Thankfully, Reynolds and Jackman have now checked in another video to speak to ensure clarity – or not.

The two stars “tell” everything about Deadpool 3

In the new video, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman sit together on the same couch that was seen in the first video. In fact, at first it seems like they will the most important questions from the fans seriously want to answer. The two actors explain that the events from the film Logan are set in the year 2029 and are therefore purely temporal not in conflict with Deadpool 3 would stand. You will death of Logan and thus not “touching” or altering Wolverine.

But then suddenly returns again the wacky humor back into the video. For as soon as Reynolds begins to explain what in Deadpool 3 will happen, the song “Wake me Up Before You Go-Go” by the group Wham! and drowns out the duo’s statements. Although one could guess from their very gestural remarks that it was probably a Battle between Deadpool and Wolverine could come. However, this could also be a skilfully laid trail to deliberately mislead the fans.

What we know about Deadpool 3

Not much is known about the third Deadpool film. It will Deadpool debuts in the MCU represent, the premiere is for the September 6, 2024 planned. Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as the wacky superhero, while Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine. By the way, directing Shawn Levywith whom Reynolds previously collaborated on Free Guy.
