EA and Koei Tecmo unveil wild hearts hunting game

A few weeks ago, EA and Koei Tecmo announced the joint development of an “action RPG hunting game”. Now there is not only a first trailer for this, but also the official title, details of the plot and a specific release date.

The co-production announced in mid-September is therefore entitled “Wild Hearts” and is scheduled to be released on February 17, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC (via Origin, Steam and Epic Game Store). The “new kind of hunting game with a unique crafting system” will be released under the EA Originals label, developed by Omega Force, best known for the hack-and-slash games in the “Warriors” series (“ Dynasty Warriors”, “Samurai Warriors”). “Wild Hearts” is set in the feudal Japan-inspired fantasy world of Azuma, in which beasts imbued with the power of nature called kemono are fought using karakuri – sophisticated mechanisms linked to a lost, EA explains in a statement. Gamers can either roam Azuma as a lone wolf or hunt together with up to two friends in a pack thanks to the game’s co-op and crossplay features across all platforms. According to the game manufacturer, there should be a “deep insight into the gameplay” on October 5th.
