Need for Speed 2022: Release later this year – presentation is imminent [Gerücht]
According to unconfirmed information, the new Need for Speed title, which will probably be called “Unbound”, will be released on December 2nd, 2022. The website Insidergaming has compiled new key data for this year’s upcoming Need for Speed entry, citing sources. Although these are still based on officially unconfirmed information, they seem to be realistic, because the well-known leaker Tom Henderson, who is active on Twitter, confirmed the rumours, at least as far as the release date is concerned. Presentation and release of Need for Speed: Unbound probably confirmed
According to Insidergaming’s “sources”, the presentation of Need for Speed: Unbound – as the new title of the long-running racing game series will probably be called – is imminent. Within the next two weeks, Electronic Arts and the developers around Criterion Games and Codemasters should drop their cloak of silence. Those sources are said to have revealed when Need for Speed: Unbound will be officially released.
At first, EA itself said that the release should definitely take place by March 2023 at the latest, but as it has recently turned out, racing game fans can probably look forward to the new entry this year, because on December 2nd Should Need for Speed: Unbound be available in stores. This speculation was also approved by Tom Henderson on Twitter.
Insidergaming also speaks of a trailer that is about 90 seconds long and contains a soundtrack by US rapper A$AP Rocky. Finally, Insidergaming’s sources have also confirmed that Need for Speed: Unbound will only be released for next-gen and current-gen consoles, i.e. Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
