Twitch streamer wakes up from induced coma, asks about Modern Warfare II first

Twitch streamer and eSportsman Liam “Jukeyz” James grew up playing Call of Duty: Warzone. After health complications, he had to be put into an artificial coma, after waking up he had a crucial question.

Who is Jukeyz? The Englishman has dedicated himself entirely to the Call of Duty shooter franchise. On Twitch he mainly streams Warzone for his more than 200,000 followers. There he ranked 22nd in the most viewed streamers on Warzone this year (via sullygnome).

Most recently, he also enjoyed showing off the Modern Warfare II beta.

Jukeyz is a popular character in the CoD community and also active as an e-sportsman. He ranks 9th among the highest-earning Warzone players worldwide (via dexterto). Jukeyz works as a content creator for the English e-sports team London Royal Ravens.

Privately, he celebrated the birth of his son Elijah on August 17, 2022.

Streamer in an artificial coma after an asthma attack

What happened? Like Jukeyz’s girlfriend Emily on September 27th via Twitter announced that the streamer had to be put into an artificial coma after a severe asthma attack. She asked to respect the privacy of his friends and family.

Large parts of the CoD community came together under the post and left well wishes. Including American esports team LA Thieves and former Warzone World Champion Doug “Censor” Martin.

Two days later, on the evening of September 29, the all-clear sounded. Jukeyz is now awake and doing well, according to a post on his Twitter account.

After waking up, Jukeyz was apparently particularly interested in one topic: he feared he had missed the release of Modern Warfare II and asked if the game had already been released.
