Rizeros was already a really cool Pokémon in the 1st generation of Pokémon. In the 4th generation, Rihorn got the development Rihornior. While it’s rarely seen in the list of good counters against raid bosses, Rizeros is a Pokemon that shouldn’t be missing on a good team! Eventually, if you want to evolve it into Rhyperior, you’ll need a Sinnoh Brick, which you can get in Pokémon Go by spinning Photo Discs and Research Breakthrough Crates, among other things.

Rizeros as raid boss

Rizeros is a ground and rock type, so it has six weaknesses! Most notably, it’s vulnerable to Water-type (boosted when it’s raining) and Grass-type (boosted when the sun or clear skies are there). If your box looks rather sparsely filled as far as attackers with attacks from the leading types are concerned, you can still fall back on the following four types: combat (boosted when the sky is overcast), ground (boosted when the sun is up or the sky is clear), steel and ice (are boosted when there is snow).
