Battlefield 2042: Leak to Liquidators Event - Mode from Battlefield 5 is coming back

from Norman Wittkopf
According to the discoveries of a dataminer, there should be a new event in Battlefield 2042 in October, for which there are already the first details. Included are themed, smaller squad battles, and earnable rewards.

Last week, the developer studio DICE released update 2.1 for Battlefield 2042 with map revisions and other improvements, whereby the Twitter user @temporyal, who is known for his leaks about the game, has now taken a closer look at the new game files and was able to bring an alleged outlook to light .

According to this, the “Liquidators Event” is scheduled for a date that is not yet known in mid-October. As part of this, there should be smaller map layouts for the conquest mode, including 8v8 and 16v16 battles, which are based on the “Squad Conquest” from Battlefield 5 as “tactical conquest”. In addition, it should also be possible to earn rewards in the game, which in turn are unlocked by ribbons.

Battlefield 2042: The leak is so believable

Like battlefield-inside.de reported, it is speculated that the event will take place on the Caspian Border, Arica Harbor, Stranded, Discarded, Renewal and Breakaway maps, since the last update has already introduced smaller variants in the style of “Conquest Domination” into the game. Meanwhile, the leak is also considered likely to be authentic, as the developers had already promised new, earnable cosmetics and pure infantry gameplay in a small space. However, concrete details are to be awaited from DICE, which could possibly announce the whole thing this week, since the “Liquidators Event” is supposed to take place in mid-October.
