The indie developers of Vampyre Games have their long-standing fan project Meteor measurement 3D completed and made it available for free download. This is a reinterpretation of the point-and-click classic Maniac Mansionwhich lets you experience the game in a 3D environment.

As a connoisseur of the original, upon launching the game you will be greeted with a hand-drawn intro that illustrates the kidnapping of Sandy and sets the premise of the story. In addition to Dave, who wants to free his girlfriend from the Edisons’ clutches, you can also select two other characters to support you in your project. Exploring the house from a different perspective makes this remake interesting, even if the 3D graphics aren’t quite up to date anymore. The controls are based on the SCUMM interface, but have been modernized somewhat. You will also find new content and many lovely details that reflect the heart and soul that has gone into this project. For example, in the options you can decide whether your Edisons should have a blue skin color, as was the case in some versions of the original.
