The FIFA 23 servers are heavily overloaded and down from time to time. We’ll show you the current status of Ultimate Team and when you can be online again.

Update from October 5th, 2022, 9:45 am: According to EA, there was scheduled maintenance for FIFA 23 between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. today. The servers should now be working again, but there are still outages. So you should bring some patience with you.

Update from 05.10.2022, 09:00 a.m.: There are currently server problems with FIFA 23. Some of the servers are not accessible. This comes as a surprise, because EA rolled out the title Update 1 just yesterday. So far there is no information as to when the problems will be fixed.

Update from September 29, 2022: EA reported on Twitter and informed the fans of the current server status of FIFA 23. After a two-hour down phase, the servers should now be fully available again. However, players worldwide are still reporting that the servers are down. If you’re having trouble yourself, wait and see – more updates on server status and potential fixes will follow from EA on Twitter.

In another tweet, the developer announced that matches could not be created in FUT and Volta for a short time due to unplanned maintenance. Whether the maintenance is related to the servers being down is uncertain. At the moment (as of September 28, 11:12 a.m.) the Ultimate Team servers seem to have calmed down a bit.

First report from September 27, 2022: Vancouver, Canada – Anyone who bought the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 was allowed to enter the virtual lawn on September 27th. Due to massive server overloads, however, this project was almost impossible. The FIFA 23 servers are always down and cause frustration among the fans. FIFA 23: Ultimate Team not playable – server down for the release of the pre-order editions

FIFA 23 servers down: Anyone who has bought an Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 or is a subscriber to EA Play was able to play FIFA 23 on September 27th, three days before the official release. Fan reaction to server status: FIFA 23 players are not happy about the fact that the FUT server is down. on Twitter and Reddit are buzzing with angry buyers of the pre-order edition. “Pay 30 euros extra not to play the game earlier,” writes a user ironically about EA’s non-performance in the early access period. It remains to be seen to what extent EA will make amends.
