The Witcher: CD Projekt Red aims to deliver the new trilogy over a period of six years

CD Projekt Red has big plans for their new The Witcher trilogy and is also following a tight release schedule.

This “ambitious” plan emerges from a video presentation on the company’s future strategy.

Six years three games

The two sequels are scheduled to be released within a period of six years from the release of the first part of the new Witcher saga, codenamed Polaris.

So three major roleplaying releases in the Witcher universe within six years.

More on the subject:

The technology plays an important role here, for the new trilogy CD Projekt Red relies on Epic’s Unreal Engine 5. And the basis that is being built for Polaris should ultimately help to make the development of the two sequels faster and smoother.

However, it is not yet known when the first part of the new Witcher saga will be released. Assuming it will take a few more years.
