New trailer of 14 minutes of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is revealed

A new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has shown off the various quests that players can take on during the game.

The 14-minute trailer, which can be viewed below, also revealed Farigiraf, an evolution of Girafarig, a Pokémon that first debuted in Pokémon Gold and Silver.

The trailer also included more footage of Terrastalizing, a new mechanic that is exclusive to the Paldea region. Pokémon will appear in the wild with a glowing effect if they can Terrastalize. Terrastalized Pokémon have an extra type that is different from their standard type. For example, a Pokémon that is normally a Fire-type could become a Water-type through Terrastalizing.

Players can now also make sandwiches for their Pokémon during picnics. This seems to replace the currying mechanic from Sword and Shield. Sandwiches can be used to make it easier to encounter certain types of Pokémon.

Players can give their Pokémon the “Let’s Go” command, which will send the player’s first Pokémon out for auto-battles. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet It will be released in November and will allow up to four players to freely explore an open world together.
